John Upton is from Tazwell, Tn and before you assume that he doesn't know what being a bad ass means, let me inform you just why he is a "Bad Ass". The fact that he goes on stage and gets people to laugh is one reason. You see, John's a comedian and a damn good one too. I have been lucky to share a stage with him on occasion and I am lucky to call the man my friend. He's married to a wonderful woman, has a beautiful little girl (who loves the WWE, Great Job John!), and still has time to rock a mic at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Knoxville, Tn. I expect this guy to go far in the comedy world and that's why John Upton is TDL's Bad Ass of the Month for May 2014

Jessica Bentley from Bristol, TN is The Dean's List Hottie of the Month for May 2014!

Jessica is the proud single mother of three boys, loves the outdoors, and as you can see, she loves cars as well. Jessica has done some really cool photo shoots as seen above and has a killer smile. One look into her eyes can melt a man's cold heart in an instant or confuse him to no end. The power that a woman like Jessica has is unlimited and thankfully, she uses that power sparingly. Candace Weeks is The Dean's List Hottie of the Month and not only is she a hottie, she's a really classy girl that loves to have a great time and can chill out with the best of them. I'm lucky to call Candace a friend because she's always there for her friends because they mean the world to her. Not only does she have the looks, she's got a heart of gold that I wish I had. Candace you rock and now the world knows it!

 The Bad Ass(es) of the Month goes to Beyond The Broken, a band that some of you may not know but they are #DeansListApproved and have had their music played on The Dean's List multiple times. This band rocks and I highly suggest you go see them or look them up on Facebook. They kick ass and now the world knows it!
